 Caravan Trades Help Manual

Academies
Academies are Cities equipped with facilities to train your caravan officers. By training the officers of a given caravan, you increase its efficiency. You can train your officers in any of five areas, Communication, Carpentry, Navigation, Negotiation, and Tactical. Each of the Academies offers the same skills, but they all charge slightly different fees. Training fees are charged per hour, with the option of paying for multiple hours at a time. Because the caravan needs a minimum number of officers available at all times, only one can be trained at a time.

To go to a Academy, click on Caravan Orders on the left navigation menu, select a caravan and send it to a Academy. To view the different fees for training, click on Academies on the left navigation menu, but remember that prices vary with supply and demand, so this is only an estimate.

Once camped at the Academy, to purchase training, specify how many hours of training you'd like in any of the five disciplines, and click Train. You can purchase as many hours of each kind of training as you wish. The caravan will remain camped at the Academy until the training is completed.
