Caravan Trades Help Manual

Caravan Orders - Trade, Expeditions, Exploration
Once you've purchased and equipped your caravan, and have a trained crew ready for it, it's time to put it into service making you rich. Click Caravan Orders to send your Caravan to a Market, and start buying commodities to trade across the Persian Empire.

An alternative to trading commodities is taking on Expeditions with rewards for completing them within a specified time. If a City is offering Expeditions (announced in the Empire News), send your caravan over to that City and accept the Expedition. Remember that Expeditions are given to the first caravan willing to take them, so it's best to look for ones that are close by. Your caravan can also carry cargo during Expeditions, but once you accept the Expedition, the caravan leaves immediately. There is a time limit on completing Expeditions, and if you do not arrive in the specified time, you do not get any reward.

For each caravan at a City, you will have a link saying Conduct Business at (the City). This will take you to a new screen showing all the business options available at that City. You may then buy or sell cargo, buy training or equipment, accept Expeditions, or whatever else the City offers.

Once you've sent your caravan out on a trading expedition or Expedition, you can also choose to have it explore enroute.

Your cargo caravans may also be assigned to Trade Routes that you have established, sent to Academies for officer training, or sent to Bazaars for repair or equipment upgrade.

Unwanted cargo can be dumped at any time without cost or income from it.

Bandit Gang Orders - Ransack
Once you've acquired a Bandit Gang, you can start making trouble. Click Bandit Gang Orders on the left navigation bar to direct it towards a Market. Once it arrives, it'll lurk nearby until cargo caravans from a rival company appear.

When rival cargo caravans are sighted in the area, you will have the option to ransack the caravan for cargo it may be carrying. Ransacking caravans may result in a moderate amount of damage to your Bandit Gang, especially if the victim is equipped with Weapons. If your caravan is identified, it may also result in degradation of your legal standing in the Persian Empire.

Damaged bandit gangs may be sent to Bazaars for repair or rename, but cannot have equipment added to them.
