 Caravan Trades Help Manual

Buying and Selling Caravans
To buy a new caravan, click on Caravan Orders and select which Bazaar you want the caravan delivered to. To buy a new Bandit Gang, click on Bandit Gang Orders, and select the Bazaar where you will originate it.

Cargo Caravans cost 5,000 silver pieces, whereas Bandit Gangs cost 4,000 silver pieces. Naturally, Bandit Gangs cost less than Caravans because there is no need to register them with the CTA.

Once you've purchased a caravan, it can immediately be put into service.

Used caravans can be sold back to a Bazaar. The price you receive will depend on the equipment and training the caravan has, and the damage it has sustained.


Caravans and Bandit Gangs
Caravans are the main source of income for Persian Empire companies. They are used to transport various commodities between markets. While many companies have an impressive number of caravans in service, you don't need a large fleet to be successful, merely to use it more efficiently than your competitors. The CTA has placed a limit of 60 total caravans on each company.

Bandit Gangs are different than Caravans. Intended for plundering, they are used chiefly to ransack other companies' caravans and steal their cargo. However, your decision to make use of bandit gangs has an impact on your Legal Standing, a key component of the game.

You can only own one bandit gang for each 1 caravans you own.
