Damage and Repair
Your Caravans will sustain damage over time from normal wear and use, or from being attacked by bandits. Bandit caravans will also sustain use damage, and will usually be damaged in a ransack attempt, especially if the victim has Weapons installed or if an alliance army is patrolling nearby.

Bandit caravans can be attacked once per hour by any alliance army that has been instructed to search and target that specific Bandit Gang. The damage sustained from an army attack depends on the firepower of the army caravans.

Taking damage will not affect the use of your caravan unless it reaches the maximum damage limit of 5,000 damage, at which point it will go critical and explode, costing you the caravan and all of its cargo. The Fleet Status will warn you of caravans approaching the limit.

You can repair damage at a Bazaar. Repair prices are fixed by the CTA across all Bazaars in the Persian Empire. The cost to repair a unit of damage depends on the amount of equipment installed on the caravan.

Damage can be prevented enroute between Cities if the caravan's Wheelwright has sufficient training.


Rename a Caravan
To rename a caravan, direct it to a Bazaar. The option to rename it will appear at the bottom of the screen for doing business at that Bazaar. The cost of renaming a caravan is fixed by the CTA at 1 silver pieces.
